Our Story

A Safari and Beyond

“Saruni Samburu exceeded all expectations with its incredibly open and friendly staff, always eager to make accommodations that catered to our unique needs. The Safari guides were not only highly knowledgeable but also passionate about sharing insightful details about the rich Samburu culture.”

Saruni Samburu

A Superior Safari

“An outstanding, luxury lodge in a conservancy adjacent to Masai Mara. The game viewing is outstanding. And because the lodge is in the conservancy, it is not overrun with too many vehicles.”

Saruni Mara

Saruni Wild, Samburu and Mara North

“Africa is a vast wonder. The Saruni group, however, turns it into a personal, magical experience. Everywhere we went, from Samburu to Mara North to Saruni Wild, we were greeted with the variety and comfort of the places themselves”.

Trip highlight

“Wow, our stay here was a highlight of our trip. We were treated like royalty here. The rooms were so beautiful, the food was AMAZING and all of the staff were excellent! We were in Africa for a month, here for two nights. Joseph was our guide, and he was the best we had all trip”

Saruni Rhino

A really wonderful place and experience

“We had a really wonderful stay at Leopard Hill. The experience in the camp was fabulous. The game drives were beyond all expectations. Our guide Nash, was so clever to find us prides and prides of lions, including cubs and leopard with cubs”

Saruni Leopard Hill

Fabulous wildlife and lovely people

“The team at Eagle View helped make this a truly memorable experience. The setting on a hill overlooking the plain is fantastic and there was a constant stream of animals coming down to the waterhole. We had specifically chosen to stay within a conservancy and we were delighted to learn that this really does result in tangible benefits going back to the local Maasai community”

Saruni Eagle View

Once in a lifetime experience

“Once in a lifetime experience. Wonderful camp, great service, and delicious food. Saw all the Big 5 within just two game drives”.

Basecamp Wilderness

Awesome stay!

“We had the entire 3-bedroom house to relax in, including a living room area with a fireplace where we enjoyed evening drinks after our day’s activities. Our Maasai Safari guide, Senior, was part of the staff, and super informative. The Basecamp Mara houses are amazing!”
